Filippo Perocco - composer/conductor

He attended Gaudeamus Musik Week (2002), Ferienkurse - Darmstadt (2002 -2004), Acanthes (2007). In 2006 he has been Composer in residence at the European Centre for the Arts “Kunst Forum Hellerau” in Dresden.

In 2008 he has been Composer in residence all’American Academy in Rome.

In 2009 he received the Fulbright with an affiliation with Brandeis and Tufts University in Boston. He collaborated with Holland Symphonia, Dresdner Sinfonikern, Young Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, Orchestre National de Lorraine Orchestra Mitteleuropa, Vocal Modern, IXION, VokalensembleNeueMusik Berlin, Aleph, Accroche Note, Algoritmo, Neue Vocalsolisten, Kaida, Astra, Argento, Knights, Divertimento, ORT, Eclat, Gaudeamus, Venice Biennale, Acanthes, Manca Nice, Aspekte, MATA, Spannungen, Finestre sul ‘900, Zèppelin, De IJsbreker, New London Wind Festival, Review of Belgrade, Brighton Festival, Astra Concerts, Warsaw Autumn. He is the founder and artistic director of L’arsenale and Festival NMaT. His works are published by ArsPublica and Doblinger.

Marco Fusi - violin

Violinist, violist and a composer. He studied with Dimitrios Polisoidis, Ernst Kovacic and Jeanne-Marie Conquer.

During the years he has collaborated with composer and conductors such as Pierre Boulez, Lorin Maazel, Peter Eötvös , Beat Furrer, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Gustav Kuhn, Jürg Wyttenbach, Jean Deroyer, Marco Angius, first performing music by Castiglioni, Eötvös, Sciarrino, Vacchi, Cattaneo. He is presently a member of Lucerne Festival Academy, under artistic and musical direction of Pierre Boulez. His complete recording of John Cage’ Freeman Etudes is released by Stradivarius.

Livia Rado - soprano

Coming from a classical education, Rado has devoted herself to new music, originally as part of L'arsenale. Rado also collaborates with the ensembles Algoritmo and Prometeo, conducted by Marco Angius. She has performed at the Mata Festival and Barge Music (New York), the Fenway Center (Boston), La Biennale di Venezia, Nuova Consonanza (Roma), l'Imaginaire (Strasbourg), Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte di Montepulciano (Siena), Incontri Asolani (Treviso), MiTo Settembre Musica, Traiettorie and Festival Verdi (Parma). Her repertoire includes works by composers such as Schönberg, Nono, Berio, Grisey, Feldman, Kurtag, Fedele, Furrer, and many world premieres by young composers.

Lorenzo Tomio - guitarist

Is a guitarist, a composer and a sound designer; he has dedicated his talent to contemporary music, exploring many of its conjugations and experimenting with many forms of film soundtrack, incidental music and musique d’ameublement. Co-founder of the ensemble L'arsenale, he performs frequently in various venues (MATA Festival – New York, University of Minnesota, Fenway Center – Boston, Contemporanea – Udine...). His compositions were commissioned by and played in many festivals, among them the Astra Concerts – Melbourne, MATA Festival – New York, Festival of New Organ Music – London, Zeppelin – Barcelona, Brinkhall Summer Concerts – Helsinki, Parco della Musica – Roma, Windspiel Duo – Berlin, In Extensio – Montréal…
