ECCE 2012 Call for Scores
Paris Concert July 2012
We're excited to announce our 2012 Call for Scores! Two scores will be selected to be performed by ECCE in their Paris concert, July 2nd 2012. This year, ECCE will have the pleasure of working with guest conductor Oliver Hagen from Ensemble Intercontemporain.
Our two winners last year – Travis Alford and Nicolas Tzortzis – received wonderful performances of their works:
“Working with the members of ECCE was a real treat. Their professionalism, musicality, and enthusiasm were all top notch, and the performance (and resulting recording) was one of the best I’ve had of my music. This is a great group that I’d love to work with again.”
–Travis Alford, 2011 Call for Scores Winner

Announcing the 2012 Etchings Festival!
This year’s Etchings festival will take place from July 7th-14th at the Moulin a Nef in Auvillar, France.
We are proud to invite composers Philippe Hurel and George Tsontakis as our guest composers. Both Hurel and Tsontakis will chair masterclasses, teach private lessons and coach rehearsals of participant works.
We are also fortunate to have the core members of L'arsenale in residence, including composer and conductor Filippo Perocco.
Both L’arsenale and resident ensemble ECCE will collaborate on three festival concerts, providing a rare opportunity for participants to compose for diverse and distinctive forces.
The Etchings Festival is a partnership with the VCCA. The festival aims to provide participants with the opportunity to study with international guest artists and have their music professionally recorded.

Take a look at some quick photos from last night. More photos and video to come!
ECCE at Harvard
Thanks to all who made our event at Harvard so special! It was an incredible treat to work with Matthias Pintscher again, and we had a wonderful turnout of supporters and new-music lovers! Below, a short slide show of our preparations for the event, and shots from the concert.
A "Stunning Performance"
Congratulations to ECCE percussionist Laurel Black for her "stunning performance" of Adam Silverman's Stars, Cars, Bars at this year's Zeltsman Marimba Festival!
