Masha Lankovsky - violin

Masha Lankovsky has been heard in performance at many of the city's most prominent venues, including Bargemusic, Alice Tully Hall, Merkin Hall and Carnegie Hall. She is a member of the contemporary music ensemble NeoLIT which is dedicated to promoting works by women composers.  Masha has participated in numerous international festivals including Schleswig Holstein in Germany, Britten Pears Festival in England, the American Conservatoire at Fontainebleau, France and residencies at the Banff Centre in Canada. Born in Moscow, Masha Lankovsky grew up in New Zealand and Australia where she first began studying music. She received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Indiana University, Bloomington under the guidance of Nelli Shkolnikova and was awarded the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Graduate Center, CUNY. Masha is on the facuty of the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music where she also serves as Director of the Classical Division.
